Food Parcel Distribution to 250 Vulnerable Families in Kahda District, Banadir Region.

Hope and Social Development Foundation (HSDF) with generous support from the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC) – Türk Kızılay Somalia, successfully conducted a food parcel distribution targeting 250 vulnerable families in Kahda District, Banadir Region, Somalia.The food assistance was donated by the Turkish Red Crescent to support vulnerable households facing food insecurity and humanitarian challenges.

Hope Foundation facilitated and implemented the distribution, ensuring that the donated food parcels reached families in need within the Kahda community.The initiative was designed to provide immediate food assistance to vulnerable households and help them meet their basic food needs. The distribution prioritized families experiencing significant economic and food-security challenges, including vulnerable households within the local community.

The distribution provided immediate food support to 250 vulnerable households helping families meet their essential food needs and cope with food insecurity. The intervention also demonstrates the value of partnership and coordinated humanitarian action in supporting vulnerable communities in Somalia.
